The Jacksonville Jaguars have been actively talking to teams about exchanging defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, but GM Dave Caldwell and owner Shad Khan are digging their heels. They won’t let a player go for less than they think it’s worth.
That means at least a first-round pick … and probably more.
Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported this nugget earlier today. It seems that a team approached Jacksonville with a player-by-player exchange offer involving a professional bowler, but Jacksonville didn’t bite.
The #Jaguars have received multiple offers for DE Yannick Ngakoue, including one involving a Pro Bowl player who did not conform to their system, but is not courageous enough to treat a player of his caliber, according to sources. Other teams have been told they would play with a bid of $ 17.788 million. Jags leisurely.

If I had to guess, a Pro Bowl player who doesn’t fit into the Jaguars system is likely to be Baltimore Ravens linebacker Matthew Judon, or a defensive back who doesn’t think he plays his preferred role of strong or free safety.
But I do not know! No one does! What you think? Who was the Pro Bowl player the Jaguars opposed? Let us know in the comments below.
