Certainly no love is lost in this series. Yankees and rays have long held bad blood, Their regular season meetings have featured numerous bench-clearing events (and subsequent suspensions) in recent years. I’m not sure it will take to the postseason – the stakes are too high in October for people to start drilling, right? – But I can’t say it’s not going anywhere.

The Yankees rely on star players to get a moment of impact in the game. Both approaches work show how successful these two teams have been over the last few seasons.
Forecast
Despite being a regular season series, I go with the Yankees in the game. Cole has been at second level for the past six weeks or so, and New York’s offense was off against Cleveland. Right now, they are just as dangerous as they are in any issue in 2020. Give me a Yankees and a call in Ga Game Game 1, with Geo Ursella getting a big hit.
