Yang, Julia Louis-Dreyfus jokes about Pence at Democratic convention

“It was great,” Yang replied. “I’m so happy for her.”

“I know, too, I, she’s great. I can not wait to see her debate over our current Vice President, Meeka Pints. Or is it Paints?” Louis-Dreyfus quipped, an apparent shot at Republicans who sometimes mispronounced Harris’ first name.

“It’s Pahnce pronounced, I believe,” Yang shot back.

“Oh, what kind of strange name?” she asked.

“Yeah, not very American,” Yang said.

“Yes, that’s what people say,” Louis-Dreyfus concluded, bluntly. “Strong.”

The light-hearted exchange came at the end of a speech in which Yang called on former US voters to elect a former vice president Joe BidenJoe BidenHarris promises to fight for the ideal of the country by accepting VP nomination.
