Yaara’s trailer, starring Vidyut Jammwal, Amit Sadh, Vijay Verma, and Kenny D Basumatary, was released on Monday. The original film ZEE5 has been directed by filmmaker as Tigmanshu Dhulia.
A remake of the 2011 French film Gang Story, Yaara revolves around the friendship of four criminals, Phagun, Mitwa, Rizwan, and Bahadur, who are part of the Chaukdi Gang. Plot their rise and fall.
The trailer takes a look at the coming of age of friends and the crimes they commit. He suggests that things are going wrong and Phagun and Mitwa separate, only to meet again after 20 years when Mitwa is arrested. Despite the consequences, Phagun tries to free Mitwa from the old days. Will this rekindle their lost friendship or lead to bloodshed?
The trailer also jumps between timelines. Seeing the main actors wearing sports prosthetics is also raising the expectations for the film.
Yaara, also starring Shruti Haasan and Sanjay Mishra, will premiere on ZEE5 on July 30.
