Xbox Live is currently experiencing issues that stop Windows and Xbox Store users from purchasing downloadable products. If you’ve hoping to buy Battletoads today and start your fortune with the trio of amphibians, you may have to wait a little longer.
No date has been set for when the issue will be resolved, but Microsoft said its team is investigating the issue and will keep players on the Twitter page and the official Xbox Live status website. You can sign in to your Microsoft account on this site to also be notified as soon as it is resolved.
We are aware that some users may experience difficulties in completing purchases from Windows and Xbox Store; our teams investigate. We will keep you updated here and on our status page. https://t.co/dG2dbISiH7

This issue affects not only Xbox One and PC users, but also Xbox 360 and the Xbox website.
The issue also seems to cause one additional issue for those who use prepaid cards or codes on Xbox One. If you have an Xbox Live Gold card, are trying to redeem it and are running out of membership, you may have to wait as well.
