While even the latest platforms like PS3 and Switch are now running pretty well in emulators, the original Xbox is left with something of a thorn in the side of the scene. So it’s nice to see Zemu Emulator make such solid progress.
xemu’s v0.5 has just been released, and this video shows some of the games that are capable of running in Halo Not so big releases.
While the video above is promising, it’s also using a lot of random / terrible games for a reason: most of the console’s library can’t be played in the emulator, so it’s a progress video for V55, and not a victorious full release. .
If this is a multi-platform multiplayer game that you die trying to retry, you’re better off trying the PS2 version, because the simulation for the platform is so mature. But if that’s the Xbox exclusive you’re after, stay tuned for more developments like this!
