“God, I missed you, Waverly Earp.”
After more than a year between seasons, Wynonna earp Season 4 officially has a release date.
Today, it was announced that the series will return on July 26 at 10 / 9c on SYFY and CTV Sci-Fi.

After a year of fighting for Wynonna earp, fans will be able to enjoy six brand new episodes, culminating in a mid-season finale on August 30.

Due to a disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, production stopped. However, production for the last six episodes of the season will resume later this summer in Calgary.
At the end of season 3, Earp’s curse was broken, Doc and Waverly were taken to the Garden, all the others disappeared, and Wynonna and Nedley were left trying to save their friends.
So, let’s say, Season 4 will be packed as Wynonna is forced to rescue all her loved ones, save the city from Purgatory and “confront her most devilish and earp-hating enemy yet, all without her trusty weapon Peacemaker ” “
Along with the release date announcement, SYFY also released a trailer for the new season, and by the way, you may have cried from start to finish.

There is a TON to unpack here: first, we can see Wynonna and Nicole joining the new character of Martina Ortiz Luis, which is already incredible.
Doc and Waverly appear to come out of the garden at some point and kick ass and fight some demons again.
Jeremy is on hand to help Wynonna not hurt herself or others with some high-tech gear.
And we have Mercedes doing whatever this is, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
Basically I’m very happy that we have Wynonna earp back after a year of fighting over this “shit show,” and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
