WWE paid tribute to Taker tonight
Riju Dasgupta will not be available for “The Best and the Worst” for SmackDown, so I’ll take over for today instead. We witnessed what was essentially a 1-hour episode, as the first half of the show was entirely devoted to The Boneyard match between The Undertaker and AJ Styles.
Without dragging it much further, let’s jump straight to the best and worst of SmackDown!
# 3 Best: A great win for an underutilized star on an underutilized team on SmackDown
 got into a bit of a fight. On the babyface side, we have SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day and, in our opinion, the House Party Fight criminally underrated. On the heel side, we had The Miz and John Morrison and Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, the latter two who have apparently replaced the Forgotten Sons.</p>
<p>It was a solid team match as expected, but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw Gran Metalik pick up his team’s victory after anchoring The Miz. It was a great sequence and finale for an incredibly talented fighter.</p>
<p>Metalik is truly one of the most underused superstars on the list and we hope that such matches will help you get your share. It cannot be denied that Metalik and Golden Lynx have creatively benefited from the empty arena shows and the limited roster.</p>
<p>Hopefully this secures its place as a legitimate tag team that can compete for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship on a frequent basis. We could even argue that they deserve a title race right now. While The New Day is always great, they don’t <em>need </em>the titles right now, nor The Miz and John Morrison.</p>
<p>It seems like the perfect time for Lucha House Party or Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura to have a title career.</p>
