This week’s edition of WWE SmackDown features many conflicting moments, ranging from G Uso’s passionate promo before the Clash Champion Champions to Alexa Bliss and The Finds, to major breakthroughs.
If it weren’t for the last two segments of last night’s episode, SmackDown would be a great show this week. Those excellent segments single-handedly elevated the show to a visible category.
It’s weird to think that the smckdown features some of the best storytelling we’ve seen through WWE over the years, and the retribution narrative is exactly the opposite of RAW at the same time.

Here are the five biggest news stories from this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown (September 25, 2020).
# 5: Otis and Tucker paired up on a dirt sheet after The Miz took some personal shots at Otis.
Last week, after Miz insulted A-Lister on the WWE SmackDown, there was a scuffle over the MITB briefcase by Mr Otis suing Otis.
Otis is not exactly the person who can handle all the legal details of a lawsuit, and he lost his temper when Miz and John Morrison arrived backstage to entertain Otis.
Miz took some shots at Mr MITB’s mother as well as Mandy Rose, who slammed Otis. However, Tucker seemed to be busy passing the legal document, and he revealed that it was just Meez’s name on the lawsuit.
Otis eventually fired John Morrison. It seems as if Morrison himself was unaware of Miz’s name being involved in the lawsuit, which adds further to A-Lister’s selfish tendencies in the WWE.
At this point it is highly likely that Otis and The Miz could settle ownership of the MITB briefcase inside the ring.
