WWE SmackDown Results, Recap, Grade: Roman rulers bet on Jay Uso in a cell at Hell

Just two days before the pay-per-view of Hell in Sale, WWE held a go-home edition of SmackDown from Thunderdom inside the Landway’s Amway Center. Slight changes were made to the card except for the addition of The Miz vs. Otis, but the Roman Reigns increased their bid for a rematch with G. Yousso.

The regime and U Soo closed the show with a violent confrontation, relying on a bit of deception from her twin brother. When Sone’s physical showdown got better, Rains hit the biggest blow of the night with a single threat. The two will settle things in the first I Quit match held in Hell in a Cell, and now it is more important than ever for Uso that he walked away from the Rhine’s universal championship.

CBS Sports was with you all night, providing rap caps and highlights of all the actions from SmackDown. Read everything you need to know to get out of the Go-Home edition of SmackDown.

The regime returns results for Uso

The regime came to the ring to close the show, ready to announce the possible consequences for what it should lose in Hell in Sale in the Euros. Uso appeared on Tron before the Rhine could begin to speak. Uso sat at the head of a table, and Rains claimed he would never leave his place at the head of his family’s table. Soo Soo pulled down the scarf over his mouth, declaring himself not as Jay but as twin brother Jimmy, who told Raines that Ji was behind him. GA attacked Raines, eventually hitting him with a hundred splashes and set out to celebrate with his brother.

The rulers grabbed the microphone and finally announced the results of losing their i Quit match inside the cell. If Rains loses, he’s no longer the head of the table, he’s no longer a WWE man and he, he said, is something he’ll have to live with. But, he wondered – will Uso be able to live with the consequences of his own loss? If the regime were to win, Jimmy, J, his wives, their children and grandchildren would all be out of the family and would not be part of the wrestling dynasty until they came to the line and accepted the position as tribal chief.

The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes, but it has been rumored that the result will be a so-called “disconnect” from the soy sauce line. Still, this was another good segment between Raines and So Hundred, and the Sunday story represents the right time to end the affair between the two before steaming out. I’m excited for a match in which there’s no doubt about who will win, and that means the WWE has done a good job with the overall story, which everyone can ask. Grade: b
