Friday’s edition of the WWE SmackDown was considered the official coronation of the universal champion Roman Reigns as tribal chief. Instead, the Raiders declined the title and re-offered the match to Jay So Son after their club match.
The Rajis were forced to offer the match again when at the end of their clash match f of the USA Champions Soo Soo refused to accept him as the tribal chief. When champion Soe refused to accept Ryan’s demands, when he was attacked on pay-view by the champion, his twin brother, Jimmy, threw a towel to end the match. That was not a satisfactory conclusion for Raines, who wanted to fulfill his role as “head of the family table”, although his offer for a rematch farther. As Heman began to cut the promo, Raings cut it off before he could say, that G Adi didn’t accept him as such at the Clash of Champions, because he wasn’t called the Tribal Chief. So Soo came to the ring and claimed that if his twin brother Jimmy hadn’t thrown the towel, he would have finally won the title. Ryanes said he was not proud of his actions, calling the match the worst night of his career because after G. Yousso put his cousin’s name on the marquee, Rains didn’t let him help, gave him a big salary and tried. Raise him. In return all had to do so so, Raines said, accepting them. Rains concluded by saying that he would give Uso a second shot at the title, this time in Hell in a Cell and “the greatest bet ever in any match in WWE history,” so quickly accepted the resignation without knowing what it meant.
G Uso Def. AJ style by Pinfall After a Uso splash. Styles came out after Rings left the ring and so insulted Gold, suggesting someone “more deserving” to get the title in Hell in a Cell. So Soe dropped the style with a superkick and attacked him outside the ring, causing a chaotic match. Styles handled early with more action outside, but came back with a big Samoan drop for a close fall. The action continued to gain momentum until So Soe knocked Stennells off the top rope, when he went for a unique farm, which Soo Soo set up a superkick and a hit Soo Splash for victory.
Raines vs. for WWE. It’s a great decision to finally pull the US storyline into another month. Everything has clicked well for the pair so far and there is no obvious challenge ahead for the Rains, so it is a good option to continue telling an effective story without having to wear matches like WWE over and over again. Soo Soe also helped establish that Soo Soo is now a real threat as a singles competitor and not an empty cog in the storytelling machine for the Rhine. Grade: B +

Sheamus Def. Shorty G by Pinfall After a Brugge kick. Prior to the match, a Big Emo promo aired with him that challenged the Any Counts match anywhere on the SmackDown next week on SmackDown.

Kevin Owens hosted Alexa Bliss on the Keo show. Owens tried to get Bliss to talk about his recent transformation after he was taken over by The Friend. Anand said her brain was washed because “my brain is washed.” Bliss then says that The Friend is everywhere and tells Owens to “get him inside”, before the lights go out and he comes back to reveal The Friend, who was already licking Owens in the obligatory paw. Feind and Bliss looked at each other before offering their hand, which they took before making the show a commercial.

Lucha House Party and Matt Riddle Deaf. By King Corbin, Cicero and Shinsuk Nakamura Pinf fall After Ridley kills Caesar with Bro Derek. Before the match the Lucha House party said they were leaving Callisto behind because he was having trouble getting his mask over his head, but he made his way to the ringside during the match when Gran Metallic and Lincer Dorado complained he had left. . Callisto accidentally kicked Dorado during the match, but Ridley gave Bro Derek the win over Cicero. After the match, Ridley stopped Dorado and Callisto from fighting.

Carmella was revealed as a woman in the last few weeks of Women’s. She cut the heel promo to give fans a reason to lose her way and said, “Now I’m not your princess.”

Sasha Banks cut a short promo on Bailey. Banks said she knows Bailey wasn’t at the arena because she was afraid of it, but in the following week, they’ll face the most meaningful thing for the SmackDown Women’s Championship Bailey.

Intercontinental Championship – Sami Zen (C) Def. To retain the title by Jeff Hardy Pinfall. Zayn exposed a turnbuckle before the match and was asked to play through a competitive match until Zayn tied Hardy to the top rope, causing his face to hit open metal and set the pin.
