Another WWE announcer has revealed that he has coronavirus, and that he has now contracted it twice.
After Renee Young revealed that she had COVID-19, Kayla Braxton, a “SmackDown” reporter, shared her diagnosis Thursday morning.
“I kept it quiet, but like everyone else shares, I feel like it’s my responsibility to share this public service announcement: YOU CAN GET COVID-19 MORE THAN ONCE!” Braxton wrote on Twitter. “I had it in early March and then I thought it was invincible after I recovered. Is not true. Don’t be silly like me.
Former backstage wrestler and current WWE producer Adam Pearce also tweeted that he had coronavirus.
Young shared his diagnosis Wednesday night after previous reports indicated that several WWE staff members tested positive, including talent in the ring. Young’s husband Jon Moxley, who used to act like Dean Ambrose in WWE and is now with rival AEW, was removed from the AEW television show on Wednesday as a precaution.
WWE said in a statement Wednesday that it will continue to test “its talent, production team and employees ahead of television productions for the foreseeable future.”
