Woori Actors, the agency of former AOA member Mina, has released an official statement about Mina’s current state and her plans to move forward.
On July 3, Mina turned to her personal Instagram account to detail her experience of years of harassment by fellow AOA member Jimin. On July 4, Mina shared that Jimin and the other AOA members had come to her home to discuss what had happened and that she would no longer speak on the matter.

We would like to give a statement about what happened regarding our actress, Mina.
On July 3, many journalists and fans contacted us because of what happened on social media. All calls made to the company were transferred directly to the mobile phone of the CEO of our agency, who personally responded to these calls.
The reason we did not issue an official statement while receiving and responding to over 100 calls is because we were unable to give an opinion on what had happened to Mina before moving to our agency. The reason we continue to answer calls without an official statement is because we wanted to explain the current situation to those who were concerned about reassuring people and discouraging speculative articles from being written.
Our first and second priority were at all times the mental stability and security of our actress. We wish to take this opportunity to thank the reporters who understood that and did their best to be clear and accurate with their reports.
Mina is currently resting. She was able to endure difficult times thanks to the support and affection she received from many people. At the moment, our agency will do everything possible to help Mina receive psychological treatment so that she can return in good health.
Due to this incident, Mina is concerned if she will be able to continue her dream as an actress. We promise to do our best to ensure that Mina can regain her health and be an actress who can reach her full potential.
