#Woof: Huskies Land 4 Star Wideout

The Huskies received good news today when 4-star catcher Jabez Tinae of Kennedy Catholic HS, WA became engaged to UW. Tinae, who is rated by 247Sports as the 36th best wide receiver in the country, pledged to UW over offers from USC, Oregon, ASU and WSU. At around 6’1 “and 190 pounds, Tinae is an elusive slot receiver who had 959 yards in 45 receptions as a junior, good for over 21 yards per reception.

Washington will lose only Jordan Chin to graduation, but the Huskies will want to add at least 2 scorers in the 2021 class (assuming there is some wear and tear). Tinae fits into Terrell Bynum’s cast (more of a possession that has a quick blast). The Huskies will also reap the benefit of Tinae being the teammate of Sam Huard, who is also committed to UW.

Tinae is the thirteenth engagement in the 2021 class and there appear to be around 7 places left in the class (only 12 older people remain, but the Huskies will likely have some initial NFL participants, such as potentially Cade Otton, Jaxson Kirkland, and Joe Pruebatelo) .
