Woody Allen calls the documents ‘Allen vs. Farrow’ a ‘hatchchat job’

On Sunday, Woody Alley called the new HBO documentary series on allegations of sexual harassment against him a “hatchchat job,” which was “hidden by lies.”

The 85-year-old director and his wife, Son-Yi Previn, 50, told the Hollywood Reporter that the decades-old allegation that Allen molested Dillon Pharaoh when he was a child was “clearly false.”

The statement said: “Multiple agencies investigated him at the time and found that Dylan Farrow was not mistreated in anything he believed to be.”

The couple broke their silence about “Lawn vs. Farrow” shortly after the first part of four episodes of the documentary.

The series paints a scathing picture of the Oscar-winner, with Mia Farrow’s daughter Dylan allegedly sexually assaulting her in the family attic in 1992 when she was seven. Mia was Alan Dillon’s childhood partner.

The Academy Award-winning director and his wife accused filmmakers Amy Ziring and Kirby Dick of “no interest in the truth” and of “collaborating with Ferro and his able men.”

The couple said they were only contacted by documentary people two months ago, and were given “a few days to respond.”

“Of course, they refused to do so,” the statement said.

The pair also suggested that HBO could be biased because of its business relationship with Allen’s neighbor’s son Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow, who signed a multi-film production deal with the network in 2018.

“It is unfortunate that the network to broadcast this is HBO – which has a productive deal and a business relationship with Ronan Farrow,” the statement said.

“While this useless hit part may attract attention, it doesn’t change the facts.”
