12:38 PM P.T. – Another sad twist … We talked to Cappie’s representative, Chuck and Walton, Which tells us that KP has gone missing again after being released from police custody.
We have been told by Walton and others close to Capp Pina that they believe he has walked somewhere in downtown Los Angeles and are concerned for his well-being.
Walton says they are working with the police to find and locate Cappie as soon as possible.
WNBA legend Cappi Pandexter Arrested in Los Angeles and is not missing … TMZ Sports Have learned.
The LAPD tells us that the 37-year-old was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with a misdemeanor battery.
We are told that Pondendext refused to give her identity to the police so she was identified as “Jane Doe” … and was kept in jail until she was released early Thursday.
Now, multiple law enforcement officials tell us that the woman has been identified as Pandexter.
The details of the alleged incident are unclear … we are working on it.
Pondexter – 2-time WNBA champ – was believed to be missing … People close to her said she hadn’t heard from Monday.
In fact, the WNBPA issued a statement on Thursday, “We are sharing this in concern for our fellow WNBPA sister, Cappie Pondexter.”
“If you have any information, please contact the authorities. Please help us spread the word and make sure it is safe.”
