The battle is heating up. The Verzuz battles are perhaps the most exciting thing in the quarantine. A creation of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, the Instagram live series features the most legendary artists facing off in a battle of success. Before perhaps the most exciting battles in Verzuz history, Wiz Khalifa is weighing and pledging his loyalty to Snoop. The Pittsburgh steakhouse shared promotional material for the DMX v. Battle. Snoop Dogg Verzuz that will take place on Wednesday, July 22 at 8 pm EST. The battle will be available to air on Verzuz’s official Instagram page, as well as on Apple Music after Swizz and Timbaland signed a deal with the company. Wiz stated that he was the Snoop team in the post caption, “I love you X, but you know who I’m ridiculing @snoopdogg.” Referring to the intensive use of marijuana by both rappers, Wiz added: “I made two Cuhz pounds.” Wiz has stated on numerous occasions that Snoop is his idol. Rapper “Black & Yellow” even had some tattoos dedicated to Snoop last year to commemorate the rap legend. Tonight’s battle looks like it’s going to be close. Who do you support, DMX or Snoop?
