Wisconsin charged Jacob Blake with sexual assault

Blake appeared in court through Zoom.

According to the criminal complaint, Black entered the home illegally on May 3 and sexually assaulted a woman in his bedroom before leaving with the vehicle.

The woman told police she had been physically assaulted several times by Blake in the past eight years, a complaint filed in July.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct and domestic abuse and was sentenced to two years of probation.

Blake was shot several times during a fight with police in Kenosha in August, leaving him paralyzed.

These charges were related before the shooting and the charges were not related.

A video clip of the incident shows an officer shooting Black as he tries to enter the driver’s side door of the SUV. Her three children – 3, 5 and 8 – were in the car at the time.

The video of protests against police brutality and systemic racism began circulating on social media. Black is black and the officer who shot him is white.

Attorney Patrick Keferti said last month that the 29-year-old is at a spinal cord injury rehabilitation center in Chicago.

CNN has reached out to Blake’s attorney for comment.
