Timeline: Our-by-our-look at Norrister this weekend

The hurricane is coming to our south together, with rain forecast as well as snow with winds in Saturday forecast, and Sunday in Maine.

Over the short term, showers, not snowflakes, are forecast for Friday evening and overnight, gradually extending from Southern New England by Saturday morning.

Matt Noise, chief meteorologist at NBC 10 Boston and NECN, says this week’s Nor’Aster is proving difficult to predict, but he has all the information on what to expect in New England.

The forecast is a source of uncertainty, including the delicate merger of Northern and Southern Unrest very close to New England, which needs to happen exactly for any major event in southern New England (but it seems to happen, and almost certainly will happen) for Maine). .

Snowy temperatures begin in the 40s and then subside in the 30s until noon in central and eastern New England as the storm draws colder winds from northern and western New England.

As long as we think the storm will come together, the rain itself will be effective Saturday morning, with puddles as big as an inch from Saturday morning and rain for the water pond on the roadway.

Of course, in the rain-fed region of Central Massachusetts and in most of the north and west of New England, the change in rainfall will cause roads to deteriorate, causing stagnant water to flow from the wet snow, causing slash and icing on the roads. Add ice accumulation on top of it and it will likely have to be plowed and treated.

In the Far East, anxiety is not as long as hours, but can be intense for a short time on a Saturday afternoon. As the storm intensifies rapidly in the east, the western side of the storm will send heavy rainstorms directly east of East New England on Saturday afternoon, spreading heavy snow to most parts of Maine and eastern New Hampshire and is likely to produce. At least a few hours of heavy snowfall in eastern Massachusetts from mid-evening to Saturday evening (although not in southeastern Massachusetts), which will also cause rapid deterioration of road conditions.

If all came together at once, the iceberg would drop exactly two to four inches per hour from northeast Massachusetts to exactly Saturday evening in May – and if combined early it would likely extend to the south coast.

That’s why, despite our first warning team acknowledging some uncertainty and the need to follow our updates, we’re encouraging all residents of the South, like the South Coast, to put the drive-way at stake, prepare the snowblower, and prepare the plow. Ready for difficult journey and road treatment. That way if an iceberg would make it south through Plymouth County, all would be ready.

Winds will continue to blow along the coast Saturday afternoon and evening, blowing 60 miles per hour from the south to Cape Cod. Gasting per mile for Ann and many others.

Where heavy snow falls and puts extra strain on power lines the wind may signal some electrical relaxation.

The hurricane will depart Saturday night, except for delayed pockets of snow and ice in the north, with more than a foot of snow falling in Maune and New Hampshire, except on a dry day but a dry day Sunday.

They will get a natural boost to start the ski and snowmobile season when Vermont will see light snow, but everyone is in for a chilly weekend next week, perfect for ski areas to explode snow guns and continue building on the ice base of nature. Quick trail in the next week.
