Why the Kardashians will not get ‘deeply personal’ about their lives on ‘KUWTK’ Next season

It’s hard to think of many celebrities who have become as famous as the Kardashians of reality TV. The famous family of influencers has filmed Continue with the Kardashians since 2007 and its fame has only increased with each season. But at the same time, long-term viewers of the show began to notice that the events taking place on screen had less substance recently than before.

Some fans suspect that the Kardashian-Jenners have reached a level of fame where they no longer care about filming the actual drama that happens in their lives, in favor of more watered-down events.

‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stopped filming earlier this year

Like other television shows, KUWTK had to stop production this spring due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. TV and movie productions stopped throughout Hollywood, and reality shows were more influenced than others because of their faster production times. KUWTK sent only six episodes of their 18th season before they had to close things out.

As they say, however, the show must continue. The production team behind the show got creative and came up with sensible ways for the KarJenners to continue filming in their homes while under quarantine, according to Cinema Blend.

Mom Kris Jenner came up with the idea for everyone to film themselves on their smartphones and the producers set up specially lit areas in each house to film confessional scenes.

Fans were not happy about the stories of recent seasons

Over the past few seasons, fans have commented online to message boards and sections to discuss the fact that the show went in a different direction than when it started – and the consensus is that it’s a lot more boring.

In the beginning of the show, viewers saw much more in-depth coverage of things that actually happened in the lives of the casts. Nowadays, fans are happy to have one real moment with script-like conversations sprinkled.

Khloé Kardashian even recently told her Instagram followers that her relationship status – something that has long been one of the biggest ever-changing plot points of KUWTK – is “not your business.”

Khloé is rumored to have reunited with her daughter True’s father, NBA player Tristan Thompson, although the two split just last year after cheating on her. The fact that even Khloé does not want to reveal any aspect of her current relationship status says a lot about how private the KarJenners have become since the show first began.

Recently, fans on Reddit discussed their predictions for what will happen if the show makes its return to quarantine. Most ideas were intentionally boring and predictable ideas such as “Kourtney and Scott will / will not do it,” and “Kris screams that she can not hug Kourtney on her birthday” to show viewers how basic the show is has become is.

One user pointed out that wherever the stories go, the family will intentionally keep things safe and repetitive without showing what is actually going on in their lives.

They went on to say, “And it’s a damn shame, because things that are happening in her life right now are actually so interesting! All the Kanye drama, Kris and Kanye trembling, Scott is going to rehab what really happened. ”

Another user replied in agreement, “If they had less money / were not as famous as they are now, they would probably share most of these dramas.” We could not agree more.

The Kardashians and Jenners are now richer than they have ever been, and it seems that their level of fame affects how much they choose to share with KUWTK viewers.
