“My lawyers have just explained how long it takes to reach an ‘earn out’ … so … it turns out I’m not as George Clooney as I thought I was.”
Ryan Reynolds shared a hilarious apology with his wife Blake Lively after making a very on-market remark.
Following the news that the actor had sold his co-owned liquor company, Aviation American Gin, to Diageo for $ 610 million, Reynolds, 43, penned a snark from the office email in which he expressed his regret for telling several people and companies “to go f – k even” after discovering what an earn-out was. The long list of those who apologize to the “Deadpool” star has included Lively, George Clooney, AMC Theaters, Betty White, and Total Wine.

Diageo announced Monday that it had sold Aviation American Gin and other liquors by Davos Brands, including Astral Tequila, Sombra Mezcal and TYKU Sake, for an estimated $ 610 million.
“A little over two years ago, I became the owner of Aviation Gin because I love the taste of Aviation more than any other spirit,” Reynolds said in a statement. “What I did not expect was the very creative pleasure a new learning industry would bring. Growing the market with my company, Maximum Effort Marketing, was one of the most rewarding projects I have ever been with.”
“I want to thank Diageo for her incredible team and passion,” he added. “We are so excited for the next chapter of Aviation Gin, which I promised will require just as little reading.”
According to Bloomberg, the “The Green Lantern” star, who co-founded Aviation American Gin in 2018, will retain a stake in Davos Brands.
