FBI Director Christopher Wray and former FBI Director James Comey are both in ‘big trouble’, former Deputy National Security Adviser KT McFarland told America’s Newsroom ‘on Monday.
McFarland, responding to Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., Issuing the first statement to the FBI and Wray as it assesses the origins of the Russian investigation, says she believe they are also looking at the Mueller investigation, in addition to potential crimes such as incompetence at the FBI.

“I think Christopher Wray is in big trouble” for one of three things, “said McFarland, author of” Revolution: Trump, Washington and ‘We the People,’ “host Sandra Smith said.
“[Wray] or knew what was happening in the FBI and he discovered it and he kept it covered, covered it. Second, he did not want to know and so he is just kind of ‘do not tell me. I don ‘t want to know,’ or he’s just completely incompetent, ” McFarland said. “Anyway, all three are pretty bad accusations against the current FBI director.”
McFarland says Comey, the FBI director prior to Wray, is also in ‘big trouble’ because of recent testimonies from former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, who claimed that Comey ‘went rough’, and former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. In June, Rosenstein testified before the House Judiciary Committee that he would not have signed a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) warrant for former Trump campaign aide Carter Page, if he knew about the since-public abuse of those warrants , and blamed the FBI for their handling of the documents.
“Comey’s has a lot to answer for,” McFarland explained. “Either he was rogue and conducted a rogue operation in the FBI … or he is set to take the fall.”

McFarland pointed out that former National Security Adviser Susan Rice “wrote herself a memo for the record on inauguration day and said President Obama wants everything that is done exactly by the books. So, in other words, if Jim Comey does something that is not done by the books, it is not up to us. “
Johnson’s statement, obtained by Fox News, claims that Wray “produces all records related to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”

On “Sunday Morning Futures,” Senate Judiciary President Lindsey Graham, RS.C., told host Maria Bartiromo the FBI “misled hell out of” the FISA court, adding “Someone needs to be jailed for this. to go.”
“Of [the FBI] lied to the FISA court or whether they lied to Sen. Graham, either they lied to President Trump or they lied to the American people, there were a lot of documents that were forged, there were people who lied, “McFarland said.” These are real crimes. . These are not just leaks to the media. These are actual crimes where people deliberately lie to other government officials and to the people. “
