Hilton’s latest YouTube documentary This is Paris The media personality has shown a different view than what many people have seen in the past. Former star of reality shows Simple Life Tells her shocking history of being sent to a behavior correctional school in Provo Canyon, Utah, as a teenager. In This is Paris, Recalls a traumatic experience during her 11 months at Hilton School, where counselors would monitor teenagers’ bathroom and shower use and verbally abuse them. She also claims that the employees gave her a solitary-limited-style isolation.

After watching the show, businessman and tattoo artist Kate Vaughan followed the Instagram post. It details horribly similar details like Hilton. Von D’s parents also sent her to Provo Canyon for 6 months, which the LA Inc. star says she has “major PTSD.”

“… those six months of my life were definitely the most shocking,” he shared in an Instagram video.

Other alumni at Provo Canyon cite similar allegations

However, it’s not just celebrities who speak out against the school. The facility has been open for 50 years, and allegations have plagued Provo Canyon.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that “there is a pattern of controversy and abuse that has been one of the largest youth residential treatment centers in Utah since the 1980s.”

Provo Canyon has remained open between “multiple lawsuits” and even “threats from the state to withdraw its license”.

The publication spoke with 8 Pride of Provo Canyon, reporting their claims to be similar to those of Hilton and Von Dee. Per tribe:

He frequently talked about physical controls, with as many as 10 employees hitting poles on small children. Some were chemically knocked unconscious, or so they felt like zombies. Others talked of staying in a solitary room for days after getting into trouble over things like not getting out of bed or asking for an inhaler.

Von D said in his Instagram post that Provo Canyon has tried to absolve itself of responsibility by mentioning the change in school ownership since both make-up entrepreneurs attended.

For Fox, Provo Canyon posted a statement on its website stating that “previous owners sold the school in 2000.”

“We are committed to providing high quality care to young people with special and often complex, emotional, behavioral and mental needs,” he continued.

But that doesn’t speak to the fact that these schools – including U.S. There are many working in (Hilton many people have attended) – are non-profit organizations. Meaning: They are caring for troubled teenagers and their parents for their children.

According to Fox, Hilton recently brought his efforts from behind the scenes to actual efforts, which led to personal protests against Provo Canyon.

Hilton and other protesters donned fabulous T-shirts with words like “survivors” and “breaking code silence”. Later, Fox reports, “Hilton’s new campaign refers to what he believes is a corrupt industry that rips off parents and shocks young people.”

In a speech to other protesters, Hilton said:

It’s something so shocking that you don’t even think it feels real. It’s something I’ve blocked from my memory forever.
