A white woman pointed a gun at a black mother and her 15-year-old daughter during a heated camera confrontation Wednesday in a Michigan Chipotle.
Video of the incident in the restaurant parking lot in Lake Orion shows the woman, in a black T-shirt, pointing the gun at the mother, Takelia Hill.
“Get away,” warns the woman, as Hill can be heard saying, “She pointed me!”
The women start arguing, as the one with the gun backs up near her SUV, yelling, “Give me back the fk!” on the hill
The heated confrontation erupted after the woman allegedly bumped into Hill’s teenage daughter, Makayla Green, as she left the Chipotle in Orion Township around 8 p.m.
“Before I could enter Chipotle, this woman was leaving and I had moved to be able to leave,” Green told the Detroit News. “She hit me and I said, ‘Excuse me.’ And then she started calling me names and saying things like she was invading her personal space.”
Frightened, the teenager called her mother.
“I walked up to the woman who was yelling at my daughter,” Hill said. “She couldn’t see me because she had her back to me, but it was on my daughter’s face.”
The alleged blow was not captured on video. The footage is captured after the altercation moved to the parking lot, and begins with Hill and her daughter arguing with the unidentified woman as they demand an apology.
“You are very racist and ignorant,” says the teenager at one point, after a man in the SUV’s driver’s seat helps the woman climb into the passenger seat.
The altercation continues with the woman telling Hill: “You can’t just call racist whites.”
“Why would you hit her? Why didn’t you apologize Hill continually asks the woman in response.
The woman goes on to say, “White people are not racist … I care about you and I’m sorry if you had an incident that has made someone feel like this.” No one is racist. “
The woman rolls up her window and the SUV starts backing out of the parking spot.
Hill is seen backing up as the SUV begins to pull away, before it hits the vehicle’s rear window, claiming he thought the driver was going to hit them.
It was then that the woman jumped out of the SUV and pointed a gun at Hill and her daughter, and Hill can be heard saying, “She gave me the gun!” while the woman screams: “Get your f – k back!”
The woman was later arrested by police, according to the Daily Mail.
The Auburn Hills Police Department confirmed that the incident happened to the store, but it is not known if the woman was charged.
The video, which was tweeted by Green, has received more than 7 million views as of Thursday.
