Where to collect the floating rings in the lazy lake

Fortnite returns with another week of challenges here in Chapter 2 as players progress through the battle pass, and today they’re asked to collect floating rings at Lazy Lake.

You may have already seen the rings floating in some different areas of the map, and the players didn’t know what they were for. Well, there will be a number of challenges related to collecting those rings, and we’re starting at Lazy Lake, one of the largest, most non-flooded areas on the map right now.

While I’m not sure if there’s only Four rings on location, since that’s the amount you have to collect, I only found four in total in my search, so I’ll point where those are. I have marked their approximate locations on the following map:

So, to go over each of these locations a little more specifically:

There is a floating ring near the toll booth at the eastern end of town, you will have to build a small ramp to it.

There is a floating ring in a house in the south of the city, again, you will need a small ramp.

There is a floating ring in the insurance company building, this will be a bit tricky since you will need to build taller, and it is a little open.

Finally, there is a floating ring on top of the giant tree in the city center, which will require either landing directly on top of it (but good luck going down) or building it quite high. Good luck with that!

Since some of these are heavily exposed and hard to reach, I would consider doing Team Rumble for this challenge so you can build in the rings without getting shot in solos or duets. I was capable of find all of them on their own, but do they actually get them? That’s another story (although it’s true that I found them before this challenge was live).

There are a number of ring locations like these, so we’ll be doing these kinds of challenges a lot this season. It should be one of the most challenging, depending on your building skills, but once again I think Team Rumble is the game here to facilitate this overall.
