Where to claim your trident at Coral Cove

We’ve come to the end of the Fortnite Aquaman challenges, as this is the week where you can finally claim both the Jason Momoa-based skin and the trident you literally have to do claiming the trident itself … in Coral Cove What is this Challenge of the week.

The final challenge to unlock the skin is to reclaim the trident, and this is where you head on the map, in the mostly still drowned Coral Cove area, next to the giant whirlpool.

Here are the exact trident claim locations on the map:

Yes, I said locations, in the plural, and you can see that there are three of them. Actually, there are three identical rock formations around the giant shell island and the whirlpool, and apparently the trident can spawn on any one of them. I suppose this is perhaps to discourage 100 players on the map who congregate on a small rock, as three small rocks at least extend a bit.

Once there, you should be able to claim the trident once this challenge is live. No, I don’t think this is one of those “only one person per game can claim the item” since I think Epic learned his lesson from that, and as many people as necessary should be able to claim the trident at any given time point , except for any technical problem with this challenge.

So yes, technically you get the Aquaman skin for completing five challenges this week and the trident for completing the “claim trident” challenge. The catch, though, is that the hot tubs are still disabled as we speak, which was one of the previous challenges, so if you didn’t do it right away, you may not be lucky until it is fixed.

If you can claim the skin, you can also claim the shirtless style by diving over the waterfall in Gorgeous Gorge while wearing the original skin. And I mean, who doesn’t want a shirtless Aquaman skin? I made a different guide for that here you can consult.

This seems to end the Fortnite Season 3 Aquaman saga here, at least for now. Deadpool had a party on the yacht later in the season, so maybe Aquaman still has something up his sleeve in the coming weeks here, but there’s still nothing. His arch enemy Black Manta is reportedly coming to the store as a skin at some point. Deadpool brought three X-Force members with him, so I wonder if we might be getting Manta plus some other DC skins that will be coming here, but we’ll see. For now, enjoy the fish god himself.
