It is also associated with pain, muscle weakness, sensory problems or bladder and bowel problems.

The drug giant pledged to investigate with Britain’s Oxford University whether it was responsible for the developed vaccine syndrome.

“This is a routine action that has to take place whenever there is a potentially unexplained illness in any trial, when it is investigated, to ensure that we maintain the integrity of the trial,” Strazeneka said in a statement.

“In the big test, illnesses will happen by chance, but an independent review is needed to examine this carefully.”
