What happened to that election day asteroid?

In August Gust, scientists warned us of the fact that the flying space object is going straight to Earth, with the potential impact of the planet on election day.

To be clear, the asteroid, the 2018 VP1, is only 7-feet in diameter and has a 250 chance of actually making it to Earth.

Even if he made it to earth, not all of that effect would exist. According to Michael Narlock, head of astronomy at the Cranbrook Institute of Science, it is likely to break apart and turn into a boil. We had one of them in January 2018.

The 2018 Boulevard in Michigan is actually recorded as an earthquake type, and could be responsible for a fire in Wayne County. But it did not cause any major damage.

Anyway, it’s election day – where are the asteroids?

It appears that the planet flew through the earth, survived and continued.

Planetary astronomer Michael Bush On Monday the 2018 VPA tweeted an update on 1, reporting that “there was apparently nothing on infrasound and atmospheric flash monitors today.”

“The 2018 VP1 has flown past the Earth as expected,” Bush said.

There are also no reports of Bollywood being anywhere, so the 2018 VP1 is probably just as detrimental by space alone. Look, Venus!
