What does it mean for fantasy?

Normally, when he links a player to an offensive led by Tom Brady, he tends to get excited for fantasy purposes. So you would think signing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ LeSean McCoy on a field without a real workhorse would be good news, right?

Not quite.

Liz Loza, Matt Harmon and Charles Robinson discuss the signature in the video above.

Charles explains the frustration surrounding incumbent starter Ronald Jones since his Tampa Bay career began: a couple of moments, but a lack of consistency and apparently, preparation.

That’s the key when Tom Brady is your quarterback. As Charles explains, Brady will not represent players who are not ready or cannot do what he needs them to do, when he needs them to do it.

This could explain the signing of LeSean McCoy, a smart veteran who, while inactive at last season’s Super Bowl, is almost certain to know where he needs to be and what it has to do with Brady in the middle.

So what does this mean for fantasy?

Well, Matt keeps it simple. McCoy’s presence is more a “stay away from everyone else in this field” than a “target this guy specifically.”

Well, at least we have receivers!
