Royal author believes Meghan’s breakup with the royal family began at the party
In his new book Meghan and Harry: the true story, royal author Lady Colin Campbell claims that Meghan’s fights with the royal family began at Prince Charle’s 70th birthday garden party.
The author scoffed that “something happened,” but did not reveal the circumstances, but instead pointed people to her book to get the scoop.
“I can’t exactly repeat it, it’s in the book, but what I can say is that something happened at the first Buckingham Palace garden party,” Campbell told the Daily Star. “We were all absolutely stunned and amazed, we all thought that this does not bode well. “

A video of the garden party had real fans talking as they believed that Prince Charles told Prince Harry to leave and many theorized that it was Meghan’s behavior that drove them out.
The video was posted in 2019 by a Twitter user who explained, “Do you remember the garden party held in honor of Charles’s 70th birthday? And #themarkles were asked to leave 40 minutes due to Meghan’s behavior? They were escorted along with their entourage. M was not happy!
Theories began to swirl, given Campbell’s cryptic clue that something happened at the garden party, and a fanatic guessed that Meghan “was bored.”
Others wondered if the newlyweds would be given more attention than Charles for his birthday, and many mentioned how, when Prince Harry delivered a speech, Meghan laughed when a bee distracted her husband. She was caught sticking her tongue out at the bee incident and some thought Camilla didn’t like the gesture.

When someone asked what happened, they replied: “I think it was because she stuck her tongue out behind Camilla’s back and was caught by the press. Charles either saw the whole thing or was informed. Lip Reading Expert Clears It All Up
Daily Mail turned to an expert to find out what really happened and, well, it turns out, it wasn’t as dramatic as all theories claim.
The expert lip reader said that “there was definitely no heartbreak” in the exchange between Prince Harry and his father. When Prince Harry moves to speak to his father, according to the lip reader, Charles says, “We’re leaving, we have to go,” to which Harry nods and says, “Go ahead.”
Prince Charles adds: “We will go now … see you later” and Prince Harry replies: “Yes, catch up … later.”
Camilla then says to Meghan and Harry, “I’m just coming to say goodbye … see you later,” and then the Sussexes leave the party.
The expert confirms that the entire exchange was “polite” and that “there was no evidence of distress” between the couples.
