Week 13 NFL Injuries: Josh Jacobs Out, Daniel Jones Suspicious, Matthew Stafford Suspicious and More Updates

We’ve reached the 13th week of the 2020 NFL regular season, and let’s hope this “week” doesn’t last as long as 12 weeks. For fun we didn’t have a “Thursday Night Football .l” matchup, but we have plenty of interesting matchups to look forward to. In addition, we will have several primetime games this week, one on Sunday night, another on Monday and then another on Tuesday.

Some notable players are facing injuries as their teams continue to jockey for playoff positioning. Killer Murray has been ruled out with a shoulder injury, Todd Gurley could miss more time due to his knee injury and Daniel Jones’ hamstring injury could knock the New York Giants out of first place in the NFC East. With just two days left to Sunday’s games, let’s take a look at some of the final NFL injury reports.

All NFL odds come through the William Hill Sportsbook.

Cleveland had hoped to get Ward back into the starting lineup this week, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. He was rejected on Friday because of his calf injury.

Seifold did not practice all week, while Simmons missed two practices while limited on Thursday. Receiver Adam Humphries is preparing to return to action after losing the final four games with the final action. Fellow receiver AJ Brown (hip) will play on Sunday after becoming a full participant during Friday’s practice.

On Sunday they will be without at least four players, while the Saints will run Alvin Camara backwards on Friday after being limited during the first two practice of the Saints. Harris is questionable despite not practicing all week.

Jones and Gurley were limited after sitting out of practice on Thursday. Jones said after practice that he “feels really good” from heading into Sunday’s game. If Gurley is to lose his second straight game, the Falcons are expected to continue their run between Eto Smith and Brian Hill, who rushed for 120 yards and touched down on 25 vehicles in last week’s win over the Raiders.

The Colts were a full participant in the green on Friday after missing the first two practices. Togi was limited on Friday after boogie and Thursday showed injury reports. Defensive linemen Deforest Buckner and Danico Tree will be back in the Colts for Sunday’s game after the team activated them from their reserve / COVID-19 list this week.

Blacklock was limited on Friday after the Texans lost two previous practices.

Devont Booker, who averages 5.5 yards per carry this season, will take on Jacobs in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game. Fellow running backs Theo Riddick and Jelan Richard will also be available for riders. The Raiders will also have a defensive end Klein Farrell, who has missed the last two games since being placed on the team’s COVID-19 list.

Elfline was confined throughout the week, while Fent was confined to Wednesday practice for the past two days.

  • Bangles: OG Alex Redmond (excitement), CB Tony Brown (hamstring) out; S. Brandon Wilson (hamstring), WR Mike Thomas (hamstring), DT Christian Coving Wington (Illness), DT Xavier Williams (Back), C B B Finney (Back), CB Darius Phillips (Illness), LS Klist
  • Dolphins: RB Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), RB Deandre Washington (hamstring) Duobiful; QB Tua Tagoviloa (toe), OG Solomon Kindley (foot), RB / WRR owner Olm Perry (chest) Questinable

Brandon Allen and the Bengals will definitely miss Redmond from the inside, who have been ruled out by a strike.

Tagoviloa has been officially listed as a suspect due to a left toe injury, so it’s likely Cincinnati could get another start against Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Dolphins will be cut short in running back, as Matt Breda was placed on the reserve / coveid list this Friday, and the pair of Ahmed and Washington Washington have been listed as suspects. Patrick Laird is the only other runner currently listed on the depth chart.

  • Lions: WR Kenny Golade (hip), D.L. Day Shawn Hand (groin), CB Jeff Okudah (shoulder) out; QB Matthew Stafford (right thumb), RB D’Andre Swift (illness), D.E. in Stein Bryant (thigh), DB Tracy Waker (not injured) questionable
  • Bear: DT Akim Hicks (hamstring), LT Charles Leno Jr. (toe), QB Nick Falls (hip), OL German Efedi (legs), OLB James Waffers (knees), LB Josh Woods (legs), LB Khalil Mack (back), WR Allan Robinson (Knee), WR Darnell Mooney (Knee) Questinable

The Lions are entering a new era without Matt Patricia, and they will start this Sunday without their many beginnings. Golade, Hand and Okudah will miss yet another game, while both Stafford and Swift are listed as suspects. The Lions ’opening quarterback was a limited participant in the all-week practice, while Swift, who used to deal with agitation but now suffers from non-covid illness, missed practice on Thursday and Friday after being limited to Wednesday.

The final injury report of the bear is also a bit worrying, as some suspicious names have been listed corresponding to the lions. While Falls has been listed as questionable and was a full participant in both Thursday and Friday transactions, head coach Matt Nagy has already said that Michelle Trubiski will start under the center.

Kirk’s cousins will lose their tight end in this week’s game, as Smith has been ruled out due to a back injury. It will be the second straight game he has missed.

Giants on Seahawks (-10.5)

Jones has been named as a suspect due to the issue of Mustang suffered last week. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but had limited participants on Friday. According to Dan Duggan of AthleticThe Giants’ head coach, the same judge, said the Giants would make their final decision on Jones once they see how they react to the long flight to Seattle. The good news for the Giants is that both wide receivers Sterling Shepard (toe / shoulder) and Darius Slaton (shoulder / foot) did not have injury positions despite being limited participants in the all-week transaction.

The Dunlap Seahawks have been the best pass rusher since coming from Cincinnati and haven’t practiced all week. Hyde was limited to the beginning of the week before the last two practices of the Sihks.

  • Patriots: Patriots: LB Ja’han Bentley (groin), DL Adam Butler (shoulder), DL Byron Quart (back), D.B. Kyle Dagger (toe), or Nick Fock (back), T.E. Ryan Izo (Hamstring / Hand), CB J.C. Jackson (hip), G. Shack Mason (calf), QB Cam Newton (belly), WR Matthew Slater (knee), RB JJ Taylor (quad), FB Jacob Johnson (knee) Questinable
  • Chargers: LB Denzel Periman (back) Dubful; RB Cullen Bellej (ankle), CB Casey Hayward (groin), DE Uchena Navosu (chest), WR Jo Jo Reed (ribs) Questinable

Newton, despite being confined throughout the week, told reporters he would step down when the Patriots face the Chargers.

Bellej tends in the right direction, as he was a full participant on Friday after being limited to Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Eagles will have defensive hull Fletcher Cox (neck) and tight end Zach Ertz (Ankle) against packers. The Cox was limited on Friday after the Eagles lost the first two methods. Ertz was a full participant on Friday after being limited to the start of the week.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur doesn’t seem to be too worried about Smith, saying earlier this week that his linebacker’s ankle is a season-long issue. Laffler expressed optimism that Erwin, who missed the last two games of the Packers, will be able to play on Sunday.

Lindsay, Reed and Judy are trending in the right direction as all three players practice at full capacity on Friday. When asked specifically about Lindsay, Broncos coach Vic Fangio said he was “optimistic” that he would have a run in Sunday’s game.

Edwards-Heller did not appear on the team’s injury report on Wednesday before missing the last two practices. If he runs behind the Chiefs, he misses the game, leading to the extended role of Livian Bell, who averaged seven touchdowns during his first game with the Chiefs.
