From usThe new airship map will be available on March 31 as part of a free update to the hit social discount game. Developer Inersloth says the airship map is still the biggest of the game with new actions and the ability to choose which room you start.
You can get a preview of the new map in this trailer, which will be released during the Game Awards in December.
The new update will also add what Inversloth calls an “initial” account system to help moderate. The accounts have been in operation for some time, and according to an in-blogger post, Inersloth wanted to make sure it took time to implement it thoughtfully.
“Proper moderation is a very difficult and time consuming system,” the studio said. “It’s not as easy as just holding a ‘report’ button after some reports and restricting someone’s algorithm.”
Perhaps most importantly, Inersloth is also annoyed that the update will have new free hats. (Although I’m not sure I’ll ever change from a red beanie, my personal favorite.)
From us It was first introduced in 2018, but moved away last year as people turned to the sport during the epidemic. (It is reported that about half a billion people reported it in November.) The game became so popular that Inersloth even canceled a planned sequel to focus on the original.
The game is currently available for PC, iOS, Android and Switch, with Xbox ports en route this year.
