The new Netflix trailer Damned seems to have a lot in common with Sorcerer, while Katherine Langford, playing Nimue, takes possession of a mighty sword and finds herself battling all manner of supernatural oddities.
The next series is based on the book by Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller. Change the shape of the Arthurian legends to make the Lady of the Lake the heroine of the story. In this tale, Arthur is a mercenary who joins forces with Nimue as he learns to control his considerable powers and sets out to save his land from King Uther and the Red Paladins.
The series also stars Gustaf Skarsgård as a more threatening version of Merlin. In the trailer, Nimue is told to bring the sword to Merlin. When Merlin appears, she reveals that she has lost her magic power and that the sword took away her abilities.
The 10 episodes of Damned It will debut on Netflix on July 17.
