Kerry mimicked Biden’s current popular Trump response from the actual discussion: “Dude, will you just shut up?” The character also referred to Trump’s remarks on white supremacy and the boy of pride, which many saw as a “dog whistle” in support of white nationalist groups in the United States.
“The president of the United States is literally blowing a dog’s whistle,” Carrie Biden said, telling Baldwin’s Trump to cut the camera marrow and blow a real whistle.
“America, look straight into the corner of my eye,” Kerry told the audience after he “paused” his opponent with the remote control. “You can trust me, because I believe in science and karma. Now imagine that science and karma could somehow form a team to send us a message about how dangerous this virus can be, ”he said, pointing to Trump.
“This November, please get on the Biden train,” he continued. “And we can all work together so that America doesn’t literally set fire again.”
