Broncos second round rookie wide receiver KJ Hamler is known for his lightning speed, but he showed off his running route and his ability to separate on day two of Broncos Camp.
Hamler was lined up against Devontae Harris and scored the veteran cornerback and came up with the catch during practice. Check out Hamler in action below.
Fellow rookie receiver Jerry Jeudy, who selected the Broncos in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2020, gets all the attention on camp Broncos, but Hamler also makes some noise. On Friday, he made a dive into what a 30-yard reception would have been like. So those are back-to-back practices. We have clips of Hamler doing something spectacular on the practice field.
Cornerback Devontae Harris had himself a good exercise. He broke a few passages while treating wide receiver Courtland Sutton during today’s practice, but unfortunately for him that has not been caught on tape and is currently going viral on Twitter.
Hopefully we will see Hamler do this consistently on Sunday this coming season. However, it looks like the Broncos have found themselves two very exciting, explosive and talented wide receivers in the 2020 draft class.
