Warzone rumor causes big changes to season 5 map and release date

While Call of Duty: Modern War It has grown a bit stale, Call of Duty: Warzone is exciting for gamers as it slowly pokes fun at what looks like a big event that will conclude with the reveal of Call of Duty 2020, it is rumored to be a Black ops reboot called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. While the teasing has sometimes been painfully heavy, it looks like the finish line is close, and it seems like once we cross that finish line, there will be some pretty big map changes waiting.

According to a new VGC report, Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 will launch in early August along with some considerable changes to the map. The report, which apparently complements the data mining leaks we’ve already heard, notes that the stadium’s location will open for Season 5, allowing players to access the interior for the first time. Accompanying this, there will apparently be a moving train running through the loot-filled map.

Meanwhile, the map may have a whole new look and feel, as the report notes that Activision plans to update. War zone to make it more complementary to the above Black ops restart. And this can include adding zombies to the experience.

Unfortunately, this is where the details end. And of course what is here should be taken with a grain of salt like any report. Nothing here is official, and everything you hear about a game is always subject to change.

Call of Duty: Warzone It is available, free, through the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Meanwhile, later this year, it will also be available through PS5 and Xbox Series X.
