Warner Bros. to release all 2021 films on HBO Max in theaters simultaneously

Los Angeles AT&T Inc. Warner Bros. will release its full 2021 slate simultaneously in theaters and on its HBO Max streaming service, the studio said Thursday, taking the toughest step in removing the exclusive theater chain. For decades.

Warner Bros. will run on HBO Max during the first month of their theatrical release before leaving the service to stay in movie theaters.

The hybrid model Dell will be rolled out to all Warner Bros. films next year, from small-scale releases to large-budget movies that traditionally require the sale of bxton-box fees to turn a profit. It includes the science-fiction adaptation “Dune”, the movie version of the musical “The Heights” and the new installment of the “Matrix” franchise.

Warner Bros. Said last month that she was going to release “Wonder Woman 1984” for a month on HBO Max Christmas Day, at the same time the movie went to theaters. The ad on Thursday covered 17 films that are set to release next year.

“It’s a needle in the middle of an epidemic,” said Caroline Blackwood, the studio’s chief wood operating officer. “We weren’t comfortable sitting on our hands or forgetting these movies.”
