Walmart partners with Yahoo Mail for online grocery program

and Yahoo Mail have partnered for an online grocery program that will allow customers to fill their Walmart shopping cart directly from their email. “Groceries from Walmart” is out now on the Yahoo Mail iOS app and website, and will be available on Android later this year. “Due to the unprecedented challenge of the coronavirus, online grocery shopping is now the new normal and Verizon Media is well positioned to take advantage of behavioral changes,” said Guru Gowrappan, CEO of Verizon Media, in a statement. Last year, Yahoo Mail launched Grocery View, which offers deals to users at its local supermarket. This option will allow customers to carry a Walmart basket and pick up items from the closest location. Walmart shares are up 10.8% for the year to date, Verizon shares are down 9.3%, and the DIA Jones Industrial Average DJIA,
