Trump and his allies have refused to accept Biden’s election victory this year, endorsing a number of basic principles of electoral malpractice in an effort to tweak the election results. But those efforts have largely gone nowhere, with courts throwing out their legal challenges and election officials on both sides denying the allegations.
Just this week, Georgia’s Republican election officials confirmed for the third time that Biden was the winner in the state, denying allegations of electoral fraud. And a federal “safe port” deadline – a date for states to settle all election disputes – Passed on Tuesday, The president’s legal challenges seem ever thinner.
The Supreme Court, which now honors Trump’s three appointments Denied An attempt by Republicans on Tuesday to request election results in Pennsylvania turned Biden blue last month. The decision was strongly suggested that “now is the time to move on.”
“Unfortunately, the person I voted for, Erin, didn’t win,” he told CNN. “The person I campaigned for did not win. It is time for us to move forward as a country and a party. ”
Dunk added that the party should focus on keeping its state senators, Kelly Loffler and David Purdue, in Congress. The two faced off on January 5, and with the state turning blue in the presidential election this year and both Senate seats deciding which party will control the upper chamber for the next two years, the election has attracted national attention. Late in the evening, Lofler told Fox News’ Martha McCallum that defeat in this election meant “we could lose the country.”
Duncan’s commitment to the election results has angered Trump. Late Monday night, the president tweeted an insult to the lieutenant governor, calling him a “Renault never-Trump” who was falsely “elected as LG, claiming to be pro-Trump.”
“The GA should be too dumb or corrupt to identify the big evidence of fraud and change it! We need every great Georgian to call us! Trump tweeted.
And while both Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State and Governor share Duncan’s views on the election, two elected senators are pushing for him to be elected.
Duncan on Tuesday refused to respond by air to the president on what he intends to do with the run-ups for the party and would instead reiterate his general goal of re-electing Loffler and Perdue. He rejected the fiery language of Trump’s tweets and reiterated that he supported the president’s policies as “spot on”.
Duncan noted the president’s popularity in the state’s Republican base and celebrated Trump State visit on weekends Campaigning for loafers and curtains.
“Any time the sitting president comes and campaigns for two senators, I think it’s a big asset,” Duncan told Burnett.
As he was completing his remarks, Duncan withdrew in a brief and final request to the President to disseminate misinformation as he campaigned for Lofler and Perdue, saying, “There is no possible way for him to win re-election. Get help. “
