Van Wagenen offers updates on Cespedes, Syndergaard, others

This afternoon Brodie Van Wagenen sat down on a call with SNY to give some player updates. As the start of the delayed season approaches, there should be more updates to come, but this is what is known for now.

Noah Syndergaard, As previously reported, he was included on the 45-day Injured List. Van Wagenen has now revealed that Syndergaard is fine and is currently rehabilitating with his coaches in Florida.

Van Wagenen also gave an update on Yoenis Cespedes stating that “it should be closer to being ready for the game than when we last saw it in March.”

While this doesn’t say much, I think most fans will take what they can get right now, as Cespedes has been radio silent for the duration of his two injuries.

Moving to Jed Lowrie, who has had a total of seven at-bats as Met, and is currently still trying to break out of a knee. He currently hopes to “see some more advanced action.”

By last, Michael Comfort Currently there are no restrictions and it should be good to go.
