Utah has 433 new coronavirus cases, 2 deaths

Utah added 433 new coronavirus cases and two new deaths on Saturday, according to the Utah Department of Utah.

The number of cases diagnosed on Friday, 31 Thursday and 404 on Thursday is less. U.D.H. The report states that Gary Herbert, by the government, said he wants the state to bring down 400 new cases every day by September 1.

The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 2,050, with two deaths since Friday:

  • A San Juan County man, aged 45 to 64, died at a hospital.
  • A Salt Lake County man, aged 65 to 84, died at the hospital.

The Department of Health has removed a 45- to 64-year-old Salt Lake County woman from the death count “after a further investigation.”

U.D.O.H. A total of 120 Utah patients were hospitalized simultaneously on Saturday, the report said. A total of 3,188 patients have been hospitalized in COVID-19 in Utah since Friday the 16th.

There were 4,249 new test results on Saturday.

Salt Lake County saw its largest increase in 177 cases in one week. Summit County added 10 cases, the highest increase since Aug. 22, when it saw 13.

Of the 54,272 test takers who tested positive for Covid-19, 45,89896 were considered “recovered” – that is, they survived for at least three weeks after diagnosis.

The number of school outbreaks on Saturday stood at 38, with two new cases involving schools.
