Upper Michigan reported 4 Covid-19 deaths Thursday, adding 130+ cases

  • Menomini: 21 cases, 1 recovery recovery
  • Ntntonagan: 2 cases, 1 recovery recovery
  • Schoolcraft: 1 case, 9 recovery

Thursday, Oct 8, at 4:45 p.m., Eastern Time, at the time of this eruption, there are a total of 3,153 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula. Of those, at least 1,348 are believed to have recovered and 50 have resulted in deaths.

As of Thursday, Oct-October, out of 10 hospitals and health system reporting in UP, COVID-19 hospitalized, shows 32 COVID-19 patients. One of these patients is in the ICU.

There is not a single patient in the ICU at Baraga County Memorial Hospital. There are three patients in the Dickinson County Healthcare System, and one more in the ICU. Helen Joy is a patient at Newberry Hospital, but no one in the ICU. OSF. There are three patients in St. Francis Hospital and three patients in the ICU. UP Health System has 16 patients in hospitals and five patients in ICU. This data is available through MDHHS.

Of the 113,303 diagnostic test results reported in the state from Upper Michigan for the entire coronavirus epidemic, 2.30 percent returned to COVID-19 as of Oct. 8, 30.

Michigan reported 1,197 new cases Thursday. Therefore, the total cases in the state are 132,039. With 20 of the critical record reviews, twenty-two new deaths have been reported across the state. A total of 6,869 people have died from the virus complications in Michigan. The current statewide recover recovery, updated Saturday on the state website, is at 99,521. Statewide recovery recovery is updated weekly on a total Saturday.
