The presidency also recalled that the first head of the SAP was “captured” by NABU, recording in audio format those activities and statements that were interpreted as incompatible with the position.
“At the same time, the first head of the SAP went through the appropriate competitive selection procedures for an administrative position, which was well received by all observers. But, as it turned out, even a difficult competitive selection does not automatically guarantee success. purity and lack of official participation, “the statement said.
Earlier, the US and EU embassies said that further financial support from the Ukrainian authorities would depend on the election of a new head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada approved the representatives on the competition commission for the election of the head of the SAP, despite warnings from Western creditors.
