The World Bank will provide a $ 100 million loan to the Ukrainian authorities to restore the economy and entrepreneurship in the government-controlled territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported on Saturday, November 7.
Zelensky also thanked for supporting the territorial integrity of the country. “We will do everything possible so that our citizens feel safe and the regions become prosperous,” he said.
We will remember, earlier Zelensky said that holding local elections in ORDLO is realistic, but first it is necessary to free these territories from illegal armed groups and create safe conditions.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Reznikov said that Kiev would ask international organizations to send humanitarian convoys with coronavirus protection equipment to ORDLO.
