Zelensky commented on the situation with the cash register for private entrepreneurs

Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about introducing cash registers for entrepreneurs and supporting small businesses during the quarantine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to protests against the introduction of cash registers for private entrepreneurs. The corresponding video message was published by the presidential office on Wednesday, November 18.

“On the one hand, we need to simplify the conditions for doing business, especially now, and on the other hand, we need to remove the shadow from the economy,” the president said.

Zelensky spoke with Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. He reported on the decisions that had been developed after a joint meeting with business representatives.

Zelensky also spoke about increased funding for the fight against coronavirus, support for the population and businesses during the quarantine, Ukraine’s cooperation with the IMF and the first weekend of the weekend quarantine regime.

We recall that the businessmen from the very morning held a rally near the Rada demanding to annul the decision on the introduction of cash registers from January 2021. The protesters tried to break into parliament after the Rada did not vote to postpone the introduction of cash registers for FOP. After that, the people’s deputies approached them.

At night, the protesters near the Rada coincided with the people’s deputies. The deputies promised to hold consultations to solve the problem of postponing the cash registers and the protesters, to bring more people.
