The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the European Solidarity faction, Oleksiy Goncharenko, predicted a truly apocalyptic end to the presidential term of Volodymyr Zelensky. He suggested on the air of the Pryamoy television channel that perhaps no one will assume the office of President of Ukraine after the end of Zelensky’s term.
“There is an option that Volodymyr Zelenskyy will simply destroy the institution of the presidency in Ukraine with his activities. And we will simply move to a parliamentary republic,” Goncharenko said.
He added that Ukrainian citizens can say that the experiments are not working and will choose the option with a parliamentary republic, so that in the conditions of an elite balance, they can agree among themselves.
Earlier, the sociological service of the Razumkov Center published the survey data, which suggests that 42% of Ukrainians consider Zelensky “the disappointment of the year.” At the same time, according to polls by the Foundation for Democratic Initiatives, about a third of Ukrainians rated Zelensky as the “loser of the year.”
