President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded a new video message about the current situation in Ukraine and the hottest topics. First, he spoke about the approved budget for 2021, which he praised on all sides.
The video appeared on the head of state’s Facebook on December 18.
“The week was very difficult, but I consider it productive. The state budget for 2021 was approved. Congratulations to all. And we keep breaking old traditions. It turns out that the budget can be approved on time. He then tried to refute “manipulation by the opposition,” that is, allegations of underfunding of critical industries.

According to him, the state supports intelligence, border guards, firefighters. The defense and defense sector will receive the largest budget in history – more than 267 billion UAH.
“Also in 2021, the minimum wage will increase: 6,000 UAH from January 1 and within a year it will increase to 6,500 UAH. We will continue to build roads, we will begin the restoration of castles and museums in Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
