Zelensky had a telephone conversation with Bolsonaro

The presidents of Ukraine and Brazil discussed trade between the countries, cooperation in the military-technical and defense industries, as well as the fight against the pandemic.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro. This was reported by the press service of the president’s office on Wednesday, November 4.

The presidents referred to the development of bilateral trade and the implementation of existing agreements.

They also discussed cooperation between Ukraine and Brazil in the military-technical and defense sectors. He highlighted the holding of the Defense Industry Dialogue to consider promising bilateral projects.

In addition, Zelensky and Bolsonaro discussed the joint work on space exploration and the interaction of the countries to counter the coronavirus pandemic.

Zelensky expressed his hope that a future meeting with Bolsonaro will end with the signing of bilateral documents.

We will remember that previously the President of Brazil announced the imminent end of the pandemic. Bolsonaro himself has already had a coronavirus in the summer. He reported the virus infection on July 7.

Brazil was also reported to have abandoned the Chinese COVID vaccine. Brazilians will not be anyone’s guinea pigs, said President Jair Bolsonaro.
