“When the ban on moving under the conditions of the coronavirus is lifted, we will certainly plan the president’s Asian tour. He will visit several countries with which we need to strengthen relations,” he said.

According to Zhovkva, Ukraine must “pay more attention to the development of relations with specific Asian countries.” Among those countries, he named Japan, India and China.

“Although I would not forget other regions. For example, Latin America is no less interesting for Ukraine in terms of economic potential. Do not forget Africa. There is also no less potential for the development of trade and the entry of our companies in its market. ” – Zhovkva said.

An outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus infection started in December 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization announced the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. As of May 5, 3.61 million people were infected with coronaviruses worldwide, of which 252,000 died, 1.17 million recovered, according to Johns Hopkins University of America.
