Representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers informed the President about the progress of the investigation of the An-26 disaster
The president insists on simplifying the bureaucratic procedures necessary to transfer money.
Payments to the families of those killed in the crash of the An-26 military transport plane near Chuguev should be accelerated. This was announced on Monday, September 28, by President Vladimir Zelensky, his office said.
“We need to do everything necessary to simplify bureaucratic procedures. These payments must be urgent,” Zelenskiy said in a conference call with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and law enforcement agencies.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that the Defense Ministry has funds for these payments.
He specified that each family of the victims will receive approximately 1.5 million UAH over the next three weeks, after DNA testing of the victims’ bodies.
Let us remind you that on the night of September 25, an An-26 military plane crashed near Chuguev. I was on a training flight. On board were 27 people, of whom 20 were cadets from the Kharkov Military University. 26 people died. Only one cadet survived.
